SUM 是瑞士音樂大學(xué)會議 (CSUM) 和歐洲音樂學(xué)院和 SUM 協(xié)會 (AEC) 的成員。它分別于 1999 年和 2000 年在國務(wù)委員會的授權(quán)下成立，該委員會責(zé)成意大利瑞士音樂學(xué)院在大學(xué)開設(shè) 4 個學(xué)位課程，以取代瑞士聯(lián)邦承認(rèn)的舊課程。提契諾州已經(jīng)在 1988 年，接近他們的認(rèn)可由瑞士音樂學(xué)院院長會議。
公共教育 CDPE 主任會議對學(xué)位課程的認(rèn)可發(fā)生在 2005 年，這是對碩士學(xué)位的認(rèn)可，這一次是六年后的聯(lián)合會。因此，音樂大學(xué)的學(xué)位在國內(nèi)和國際上都得到認(rèn)可。
